We’ve all been there. You’re out at the bar, and you’re talking to someone that you might like to keep talking to. But, you’re just not sure yet if you want to give them your number or not. What do you do? What if you decide not to give them your number, but regret it the next morning? Are you really going to find that person via the Missed Connections section on Craigslist?
Carrier Pigeon is now available to eliminate that awkward decision - “Am I ready to give this person my telephone number yet?”.
Here’s how it works: You’re in a bar or restaurant and someone asks you for your phone number. You’re not sure if you’re ready to give them your number. You scan a QR code in the Carrier Pigeon app, and then you can each message each other five times, limited to 140 characters each. Then, you can decide whether or not you want to share your phone number. If both users agree to share contact info, it is distributed to each person.
